“Freedom Eyes” is one of my first paintings I did during lockdown. Once we were allowed out into the natural world, my family and I headed to Lulworth Cove, Dorset on a “school day”. I remember feeling free and passing other humans who also radiated the same sensation as we walked along the path to the cove, a sense of pure joy and giddiness that we had been given not only the glorious weather and a fresh, cleansed view of nature, but also a feeling of being so connected to our planet and all that makes it so precious and ours to explore and connect with.
