“Pounding Heart, Quiet Mind” represents the physical and spiritual state of being experienced when standing at that view point on Pavey Ark, whilst looking down at Stickle Tarn in The Lake District. It tells a story of a journey within one’s self and also physically within nature. Climbing g to that point is a challenge (pounding heart), but once you reach the top, the quiet all around and within you (quiet mind) is profound and brings a sense of awareness to yourself, life and Mother Nature. Life can be challenging at times, but when we stop and listen to the silence, things which are important may call out to us.
