“Counting Crows ” is a playful piece painted with my fingers direct onto the canvas. It represents a moment in time captured on a walk towards Towan Beach, Portscatho, Cornwall via the farmlands. My family and I walk this route to the beach many times, each time we anticipate how many crows will be on this field above the sea and under the beautiful sky as we pass… we then clap our hands and count the crows as they rise and fly off… sharing a sense of playfulness and fun.
