“The Mermaid’s Whisper” represents the spirit of the rugged coastline and the powerful sea at Zennor in Cornwall. There is an amalgamation of harsh, wild existence with that of beauty and resilience when standing here at Zennor Head. A place where myths and stories speak of witches congregating at the rocks above, conjuring up spells on the sea to create havoc, whilst below, mermaids swim the currents and fall in love with fishermen. One can feel forces of love and hate, survival and struggle, like yin and yang at this place… all part of nature and our existence with it.
