Tears

‘Tears of Joy’ represents the tall, skeletal trees on Pitch Hill in the Surrey Hills during Winter. This piece was created by dripping black ink, like tears (of joy!), on the canvass – rotated 180 degrees – and then blowing the ink, allowing the trees to take their shape. Sky painted with my fingers. Nature has a healing power, it’s a place where one may find peace, space to ponder and where everything is just how it’s meant to be, no matter the season nor the elements.
